Dynamic QR Code means a QR code whose destination URL can be edited after creation and whose scans can be tracked.

Static QR Code means a QR code whose destination is fixed at creation and cannot be changed.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

When you create QR codes, we store the destination URLs, QR code designs, and associated settings. For Dynamic QR codes, we collect scan analytics including scan time, approximate location, and device type when your QR codes are scanned by others. This data is provided to you in your dashboard analytics.

Subscription Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription details are managed by Chargebee. We receive summary billing information but do not store your full payment card details.

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information. The technologies we use may include:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes unrelated to QR Code Maker.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share your personal information in the following situations:

Chargebee — We use Chargebee as our subscription management platform. Your email address, subscription plan, and billing information are stored in Chargebee. Chargebee’s privacy policy is available at chargebee.com/privacy.

Payment Processors — Visa/Mastercard and PayPal process payments via Chargebee on our behalf. Your payment data is handled in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Google Analytics 4 — We use GA4 to understand platform usage. Data is anonymised where possible and only collected with your consent.

Google Safe Browsing API — When you submit a destination URL for a Dynamic QR code, we may check it against Google’s Safe Browsing database to detect malicious or phishing content.

Hosting and Infrastructure — Our platform infrastructure providers may process your data as part of service delivery, under strict data processing agreements.

Legal Requirements — We may disclose your data if required by law or court order.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy:

Account data: retained for the duration of your account and up to 3 years after closure
QR code and scan analytics data: retained while your account is active and for 12 months after closure
Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Cyprus tax law
Subscription data in Chargebee: same schedule as above

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that we assist in deleting the Personal Data we have collected about you. You may:

Delete specific QR codes and associated data directly from your Account dashboard
Request full account deletion by contacting [email protected]

Please note that we may need to retain certain information where we have a legal obligation to do so (e.g. billing records).

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Our primary operations are based in Cyprus (EU). Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (e.g. Google Analytics, Chargebee infrastructure), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

QR Code Abuse Prevention

When you create Dynamic QR codes, the destination URLs you submit may be checked against external safety databases (including Google Safe Browsing) to detect malicious, phishing, or harmful content. Security of Your Personal Data

The security of your Personal Data is important to us. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS transmission, and access controls. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 16.
